Trap the dots.
Composition is a daily puzzle for iPhone and iPad. You draw lines to trap unruly dots, and every line becomes part of a painting that’s yours to keep.

Study No. 1
Swipe across the canvas to draw a line.
A new board every day
Everyone in the world gets the same board, and it changes at the same moment everywhere. You get three tries at it. Monday’s board is the gentlest, the week builds to Saturday, and Sunday is calm.
Play today’s board hereRace your friends
If your friends have played today’s board, you race the friend just ahead of you. If they haven’t, you race your own best time, or the fastest time in the world. When you finish, their lines appear over yours in pencil.
Paint one canvas together
Paint with one or two other people. Pass one phone around, play on your own phones in the same room or on a FaceTime call, or take turns from far away, one line at a time. When you pass the phone, the canvas turns the colour of whoever’s next.
A gallery of your own
Every canvas you finish hangs in your gallery. Each one is named after its colours, biggest first, the way Mondrian named many of his paintings. Every painting below was made in the game.
There are no ads and no account to make. Today’s board is free every day, and the full edition is one purchase. Today’s board and the Studies work without the internet.
