Terms of use
Composition is a game you get from the App Store and play on your own terms. These are the few rules that come with it.
Composition is made by Babs Technologies, a company registered in the United States with its headquarters in Middletown, Delaware (“we”). These terms cover the Composition app and this website.
Your licence to play
When you download Composition from the App Store, you use it under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. That agreement is the licence. These terms add only what’s particular to Composition, and where the two differ, Apple’s agreement applies.
The full edition
Today’s board, its three tries, the race and the leaderboard are free for everyone, every day. The full edition is one purchase that adds every past board, all of Solo and more ways to paint with friends far away. You buy it through Apple, so Apple handles the payment, receipts and refunds. If you bought it, you can ask for a refund in the game, with Request a refund on the full edition’s page, which opens Apple’s own refund form, or at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides on refunds. It’s shared with your family through Family Sharing, and you can restore it on a new device from the full edition’s page in the game.
Playing fair
The daily board, its leaderboard and the races only mean something if every time is real. So please don’t tamper with the game or its runs, send runs you didn’t play, pretend to be another player, or try to disrupt other people’s play. Every run is replayed before anyone races it, and we may remove runs or results that break these rules.
Your paintings and runs
The paintings you make are yours. When you finish today’s board signed in to Game Center and iCloud, your run is saved so others can race a replay of it, as the privacy policy explains, and you can have your runs deleted at any time. When you share a painting or a board link, it goes only where you send it.
The game, as it is
We make Composition with care and keep it working, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Playing with friends, the leaderboard and saving to iCloud depend on Apple’s services, and we may change or retire features over time. To the extent the law allows, the game and this website are provided as they are, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses. None of this limits the rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
This website
You can play the first level and today’s board here, in your browser, for free. Please don’t misuse the site, for example by trying to break it or overload it.
Changes
If these terms change, we’ll update them here and change the date at the top. If a change matters, we’ll also say so in the game.
